Tiger Woods 08 will have a total of 15 courses, 10 from last years version.  Here is a list of the courses which will be in Tiger Woods 08: Sawgrass, Boston TPC, East Lake, Westchester, The National, Doral, Pebble Beach, Harbor Town, Riviera, Ocean Courses, Firestone, Spyglass Hill, Saint Andrews, and Cog Hill.

The presentation for Tiger Woods 08 is supposed to be crazy good.  You will think you're actually watching a tourament broadcast on TV.  The crowd is more repsonsive, and unlike the 07 version, the injuries are more realistic when crowd spectators get hit by a ball.

EA Sports revamped the putting a little bit.  The 07 version takes a while to get used to reading putts.  In the 08 version you'll be able to pick out the spot you want to aim, then you can press a button to see where your putt will end up.  That sounds like it makes putting all too easy, but you'll only be able to use the feature once per putt.

EA Sports also added five new golf courses and the online play is going to be improved.

I was wondering when EA Sports was going to make some noise with Tiger Woods 08, but Tiger Woods seems to be overshadowed by Madden and NCAA Football at the moment.  Right now Tiger Woods 08 is slated for an August 28 release date.  EA Sports has released the first Tiger Woods 08 trailer which you can check out here.  The video gave me goosebumps; it looks absolutely awesome.

The release date for Tiger Woods 07 for the Wii was March 13.  The game took advantage of the Wii's controller.  When I first heard the concept of the Wii controller I thought it was the stupidest thing I ever heard of, but after seeing how it can be used for games such as Tiger Woods I'm considering of picking one up. 

You basically just use the remote like you're placing the golf club in your hand. For putting you can take a few practice swings to determine the proper strength for your putt. To put spin on the ball you shake the controller while pressing a directional arrow.  To put a hook or slice on the ball you simply tilt the controller like you would tilt an actual golf club.
